:S I'm having an issue with hotkeys... When my OBS window is focused, then the Veadotube hotkeys don't work at all. But when a game window is focused, then the hotkeys DO work.
I have an idea for another one (which should be very little effort to include). Mouth transition 3. The same as 2, but the jump isn't as high. I suggest this because I'm transitioning from another PNGtuber method where the jump is small, and I'm finding Veadotube's jump to have a little too much motion.
Whenever I try to run this and also capture gameplay with a game auto detect source I just end up with two veadotubes on there. Is there any way around this without changing how I capture my gameplay, or should I just... change how I capture my gameplay?
mini was made in unity so it's understandable that streaming apps detect it as a game, yeah. isn't there a way to tell it to ignore certain games during auto detection? :0

Ok so to explain this post in detail I'm gonna split it in two parts, one explaining the DX12 and the other with the frames.
Before you use DX12, make sure that you have it on your PC before using this command (mainly Windows, sorry Mac users!). For DX12, you will need to make a shortcut of the "veadotube mini.exe". Reason for this is so we can use that command "-force-d3d12" in the Target when you open Properties of the shortcut. Paste the command after the quotations, and you're good to go!
For the 60 fps way, the way I did it was through the NVIDIA Control Panel. There may be other ways, but this is the way I found for NVIDIA users. Open the control panel, go to "Manage 3D settings", then click the Program Settings tab. From there, you will click Add, and then search for the veadotube application. Then, scroll down till you see "Max Frame Rate". Click it, check on, and then set it to 60 frames.
Hope this made it a bit more easier to understand!

Currently I have two push to talk keys (one to discord and one to just stream), and it would be great if the avatar only reacts when I intend it to! Unless I've missed something, it reacts to any input the microphone gets.
i don't have plans for mobile at the moment, but mini should work fine on windows 7! unless you're running 32-bit, to which there'll be an update soon that fixes it.
I just started using this recently and I love it! Thank you for releasing this! I have came up with some suggestions for either the mini version or the full version.
Breath movement mode: Just vertical up and down movement, like you're breathing.
Blink modes: Fast, normal, always closed
The ability to move around your avatar (click and drag). I'd just prefer to move around in app rather then on OBS.
The ability to zoom in and out (scroll in/out). I use a very large PNG so I had to crop it in order to make it not look all pixel-y, but then I can't show off the whole image.
Anti aliasing modes. I feel more zoomed out images could be smoother (I don't know what I'm talking about)
I apologize if these have been suggested already, I've skimmed through the comments a little to prevent this.

I was wondering if its at all possible to make another window (like the normal expression windows, eyes open, mouth closed, etc.) But just for additional emotion "marks". Like an image of sweat overlayed of top of the already present character, or a red angry anime like pulse that shows up when a character is in a angry state. I would just do this in GIF format but my character has white hair and I can't really get a clean transparent gif out of it. So I think a overlay window for extra marks of emotion would be very useful for others in my situation.
ive been using this amazing tool a lot lately and i think ive come up with something simple, yet useful to add to it. my idea is to have it so that if the audio input is loud enough it shows a loud/yelling/screaming character image. (so probably just add another slider on the microphone sensitivity and if the audio goes above it, it shows the loud/yelling/screaming image) i came up with this idea after streaming some horror games TwT

that's weird, did you get any error messages or was it just a vague "unexpectedly quit" one? if you could send me the log file (you can dm me on twitter for that, @olmewe) that'd probably help!
Genuinely excellent little tool. I have tried a few solutions that involve Discord extensions, having different browsers open etc. and none of them are great and have some kind of limitation. This has none of those limitations and works perfectly as a standalone.
The thing I was most concerned about it being a Unity app was that it would fight with my active stream game for Graphics Card attention: an issue I have had when trying to run apps made in UE4 in the past. Thankfully this wasn't an issue at all and my stream was silky smooth with the lovely animations present throughout.
ye, on windows any hotkey should trigger while mini is out of focus! on mac, out of focus keyboard is unsupported, although midi devices should still work fine.
Is it possible to have a hotkey that triggers when holding the key?
I have a sprite for when I'm drawing, and want it to only trigger when i'm using the pentablet (left mouse button) and have it go to default when I'm off of it.
fantastic program! *exactly* the level of complexity I needed and no more. some v. minor technical feedback: - weirdly high cpu usage; fixed on my end by changing power mgmt options in NVIDIA control panel to Optimal (from Max Performance), which brings it down to like 2% usage - when using hotkeys, text input in all other windows becomes sliiiiightly sluggish. if no hotkeys are set, input speed returns to normal
This was exactly what i was looking for,,, there is one function that i'm kinda missing though and that is having different trigger points for mic volume so that it'd be possible to for example set a talking sprite and then a yelling sprite if i went past a certain volume. thank u for putting this out there,, excited to see what u add next update <3 .

the different background colours (including the transparent option) are there so that you can edit it out and set your own background for your video :] you can use obs for that too.

that's an issue with obs yeah, apparently when focused it consumes all keyboard inputs before they reach other apps such as mini.

If anyone else has the same issue like me when I run a game that hammers my GPU after forcing DX12 with this "-force-d3d12", that issue went away.
And I limit the app to 60fps too. After that it was smooth all the way as before it would start to slowdown heavy.

the app has a few microphone bugs yeah. restarting it sometimes fixes that :]

not natively no, you'll need something like obs to stream the veadotube mini window to a virtual camera.

apparently using mouse hotkeys makes the cursor frame rate to be the same as the app, i'm working on a fix :]

This would be a cool feature. I did it manually by chucking my image in paint.net and doing some additive layering to darken it.
i don't plan on adding this, no! you can do that manually with a program of your choice.
Ok im on macbook pro and when I launch the app it says

When I reopen it, it says the same thing too I need help with this
