hi! this is the uhh february dev log i think it counts as that. bit early i guess! but also some major announcements too so here we go

first of all: we updated Tube

they look like this now

that's right baby new mini new Tube!!! Bella is drawing new stuff for mini so they took the time to also revise Tube the deer. they'll be available as the default avatar starting in mini 2.0 :]

oh, what's that? you wanna make it personal? you wanna make it yours? well my friend have i got just the thing for you. it's the Tube picrew!! you can now make your own customised Tube, and even export it to use with mini. cool stuff!

the lab is launched!

the lab officially launched a couple weeks ago :] meaning that people are getting to test mini 2.0, along with the stream deck plugin, and everything seems to be going like, wayyy smoother than we expected. which is good news!

so this month we're starting to test other platforms like macOS and linux. if you happen to use any of those two platforms, this is your time to shine!!! we didn't get too many mac or linux users on the forms last year, so if you haven't yet, feel free to fill the form! https://forms.gle/hnsjp1cy8dg5cypF6

the olmewe early access

don't wanna wait until your entry gets picked from the lab form? no worries! we're finally launching the olmewe early access on ko-fi, which lets you check into whatever i'm developing at the time. right now it's a backdoor to the lab, meaning that you get access to the current mini 2.0 builds, as well as the stream deck plugin and the roadmap and all that! which is cool!

the ko-fi membership gives you access to the Sindigatas discord server, which is where i've been logging some development stuff, together with Bella and Nat. so be sure to check the rest of the server too if you want :]

some other stuff

we revised the veadotube discord server also! (invite link in our website, as always.) it's got new stuff like forums for troubleshooting, a whole new channel where you can post pictures of deer (!!!), onboarding stuff, all that. be sure to check it!

uhh what else. idk lots of things happening! feels like veado is finally moving forward this year, soon mini 2.0 will be ready for the public and then development on the full version will resume and then people will have access to that as well and that's exciting :]
